Volta takes its name from Alessandro Volta, the Italian physicist, and pioneer of electricity and power. Much like Volta, who assembled the first battery pack, we are driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to advancing the field of electrical engineering.
The Birth of Volta Insite
At Volta Insite, our journey began long before the company was founded—it started with a childhood curiosity. From a young age, our Co-Founder and CEO Denis Kouroussis was fascinated by the inner workings of the world around him and constantly tinkered with gadgets to understand how they functioned. This inquisitive nature led him to pursue a degree in electrical engineering, where he delved into the intricacies of power systems and energy management. Inspired by the groundbreaking work of Nikola Tesla, he developed a deep admiration for his genius and his revolutionary contributions to the field of electricity. This motivated him to follow in his footsteps and make his own mark on the world of innovation.
As his passion for understanding complex systems grew, so did his commitment to creating a more sustainable and efficient energy future. This mission ultimately led to the establishment of Volta Energy, and with it, Volta Insite—a division dedicated to pioneering cutting-edge solutions for the energy challenges of the 21st century.

Through our consulting work, we addressed motor issues and other related production challenges, helping businesses optimize their operations. It was during this time that we discovered the transformative potential of electrical signal analysis—a discovery that would eventually lead to the creation of Volta Insite.
